The "Mitigating Systematic Errors in Space-based CMB Polarization Measurements" workshop will take place from July 28-30 in Annapolis MD at the Double Tree Hotel. The meeting is being hosted by the Goddard Space Flight Center in nearby Greenbelt, but the offsite location was chosen to simplify security logistics. The nearest airport is Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) which is a 20 mile (30 minute) trip away.
There is ample free parking at the hotel if you plan to rent a car. Taxi fare from BWI to Annapolis is estimated to be $55.00, while the Super Shuttle is $33.00 for the 1st passenger and $12.00 for each additional one. The hotel offers free shuttle service to points in Annapolis until quite late in the evening.
Please register for the workshop using the registration form on this web site. In addition, we request that you book your rooms directly: the hotel is reserving a block of rooms under the name "NASA/CMBPol". Assuming the number of attendees does not become too large, the workshop will cover the cost of food and lodging at the hotel. When you reserve a room, the hotel will ask for a credit card number to hold the reservation, but you will not be charged.
